I was appointed by the Federal Attorney General to the very privileged role of Civil Marriage Celebrant, in 1995.
I love the experience of meeting people from all walks of life, and am intensely committed to ensuring all celebrations are just that - a celebration to remember! I love the written word, and being able to use my communication and writing skills feels completely natural and “right”.
Until recently, I was employed as the Administration Manager of a large Medical Association (Branch of the AMA), and had regular interaction with the medical and pharmaceutical professions and travel industry, and was significantly involved with planning and presentation of major medical conferences and events, both in Australia and all around the world. I loved every minute of this career, which fortunately offered the flexibility to permit me to devote the necessary time and skill to the celebration of weddings.
To allow me to follow my real passion I retired from my full time position and can now devote more time to all facets of Celebrancy, including Funerals (very short notice, and on week days), and continue Name Giving Ceremonies, Renewal of Vows Ceremonies, Commitment Ceremonies, and ceremonies for all occasions that must be celebrated in style!
I am located at Shepherds Bay (Meadowbank), which offers easy access by train, ferry, and there is ample car parking available. Meetings by appointment only please.
